Sometimes, you just think "Man, all this stuff is great, but I'd rather have more laser guns"? Well think no more, the Fresnel Gunship is here to fill all your laser related needs. That's what it does. That's all it does. That's what we want it to do.
Armament[]
If you're not getting this yet, LASERS. The Fresnel is armed with a huge battery of the Covenant's finest Energy Weapons. They have a long range, and there are many of them. A squadron of Fresnels is capable of fearsome firepower out to maximum range, capable of focusing almost the entire firepower of a squadron on to a target at any range.
Abilities[]
Having so many lasers is a pretty good ability. Thus, it has no other abilities, beyond Inventive Scientists. Also Vulnerable, so it might explode. Whatever, lasers
Generators[]
To avoid incoming lasers fire, the Fresnel is equipped with the standard Covenant Shield Generator device, enabling it to shoot lasers even while under fire.
Meaning of the Name[]
Fresnel. Guess who this guy was? Yeah, he designed a focusing lens. It's not quite a laser, but it's as close as we've got to a 19th Century laser pioneer.
